Quarterly reports describe revenues and expenditures at three-month intervals within the fiscal year.
Late in each calendar year, Metro issues its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, which provides information on Metro’s operations and finances. The annual report is used by legislators, creditors, investors, and the public. It contains within it the “Report of Independent Auditors” by outside certified public accountants who audit Metro’s financial records and transactions.
The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report also includes the Single Audit, an audit of federal grant programs, as required by Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-133.
