MetroPaint lobby reopens
The MetroPaint facility at Swan Island sales lobby is open to the public with curbside service still available for those who prefer to stay in their vehicles. If you know which paint color you would like, call 503-289-0047 to place your order. When your order is ready, it will be available for curbside pickup at the facility at 4825 N. Basin Ave., Portland, OR 97217.
MetroPaint is manufactured from recycled latex paint and follows strict quality control standards of the Master Painters Institute and the International Paint Recycling Association. MetroPaint is available in a variety of popular standard colors and trendy limited edition hues.

Have leftover paint?
Recycle up to 35 gallons of paint for free at Metro Central or Metro South.
You can also recycle up to 100 gallons of paint per day at MetroPaint’s Swan Island location. Paint labeled “architectural coatings” (also known as “house paint”) from any Oregon-based business or residence is accepted.
The following materials can’t be accepted at the MetroPaint retail location:
- paint containers missing original labels
- automotive paint
- industrial coatings
- road paint
- marine coatings
- epoxy coatings
- equipment paint
- spray paint
- roof coatings
- linseed oil
- paint thinner or turpentine
- other solvents
