The new regional Supportive Housing Services program offers an unprecedented opportunity to address homelessness with supportive housing across greater Portland. Over time, the program will fund ongoing rent assistance and services for as many as 5000 households who need supportive housing — this means we need 5000 supportive housing units!
Metro and Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington Counties invite you to join in a discussion especially for partners who want to help provide supportive housing. We’ve heard from many service providers about the service needs and opportunities for this new program — now we need to hear from housing partners about housing needs and opportunities.
Discussion rooms to strategize housing solutions — choose a topic and bring your expertise:
- Working with market landlords
- Partnering with existing affordable inventory
- Planning for supportive housing in new development
- Creating a long-term rent assistance regional program
Please register in advance for this online meeting.
This regional event is coordinated and in partnership with local planning efforts underway in Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties.
