Portland Indigenous Marketplace artists and entrepreneurs are joining Salmon Homecoming. Limited cell and internet service will not allow for credit/debit card transactions.
Join Metro this October as the Sandy River fall Chinook salmon return to one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier glacier-fed wild rivers.
This event is free for all ages. No registration required. Pay parking fee at booth.
Kids, parents and grandparents from all over greater Portland will have ample opportunity to come to the Sandy River and celebrate the return of these iconic fish. This year’s event is focusing on honoring salmon and supporting Native families with two days of fun, food and cultural connection.
In collaboration with the Native American community, Salmon Homecoming will include cultural crafts, door prizes, and private salmon ceremonies for Native families.
