In May 2020, voters across the region approved a supportive housing services measure that will fund programming for housing assistance and wraparound services to change lives and significantly reduce homelessness across the region. As a first step towards implementation, Metro has formed a stakeholder advisory table to inform implementation. Group members include representatives from homeless and supportive services providers, community-based organizations and coalitions, business leaders and public health providers. The stakeholder advisory table will make recommendations to Metro’s COO to affirm and refine regional values, and identify regional outcomes metric to ensure transparent oversight and accountability of the supportive services program. This guidance will inform the development of Metro’s regional program and the local implementation strategies to be developed in Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties.
The stakeholder advisory table will meet four times between July and September 2020. Meetings are open to the public.
