The Metropolitan Exposition Recreation Commission serves as a catalyst for culture, community and economic vitality for Oregon and the Portland metropolitan region through leadership, advocacy and expert management of public event venues. The committee typically meets the first Wednesday of the month.
The public is encouraged to attend Metro Council meetings. Every council meeting includes a public communications agenda item to provide an opportunity for comments on topics not on the agenda.
