The Metropolitan Exposition Recreation Commission serves as a catalyst for culture, community and economic vitality for Oregon and the Portland metropolitan region through leadership, advocacy and expert management of public event venues. The committee typically meets the first Wednesday of the month.
Metro Council work sessions are meetings where staff and guests present information to Council and hear their discussion and direction. Council does not adopt new legislation or take action on items at work sessions.
Work sessions are open to the public to observe; there is no an opportunity for members of the public to give their comments during these meetings. Work sessions typically occur every Tuesday at 2 p.m., unless stated otherwise stated. Check out the Council calendar for work session dates, agenda topics, and connection information.
If you are unable to attend a meeting live, audio and video recordings are available online within a week of each meeting.
