Background
For 18 months, Metro has worked with community leaders and the public on a potential transportation funding measure to make it safer and easier for everyone to get around as the Portland area continues to grow. The Get Moving 2020 package calls for comprehensive improvements to address traffic and safety on 16 of greater Portland’s most dangerous and congested corridors, and creates dedicated funding for programs that will make ongoing investments across the region.
