Farmington Paddle Launch, built through a partnership between Metro and Clean Water Services, provides visitors a safe and accessible location to set out on the Tualatin River Water Trail. Celebrate the grand opening of the the paddle launch and Tualatin Riverkeepers annual Tualatin River Discovery Day with us.
After a brief Farmington Paddle Launch grand opening ceremony at 8:00 a.m., there will be a self-guided 3.7 mile paddle hosted by Tualatin Riverkeepers, which will include a guidebook highlighting wildlife and history specific to this section of the river. If you plan to paddle, you'll park at Groner K-8, hop on a shuttle to the Farmington Paddle Launch. You'll then be shuttled back to Groner K-8 for refreshments.
You may bring your own boat or rent one for $35 for the event. Advance registration is required for both options and will secure your launch time.
Update June 21: Please note that Washington County's Eagle Landing Park downriver from Farmington remains closed due to winter storm damage. Paddlers will need to enter and exit the river at Farmington Paddle Launch.
