Come and be part of an inclusive egg hunt for kids experiencing disabilities and their families at Blue Lake Regional Park. Kids of all ages and abilities can walk, roll and wander the park to collect eggs hidden on a trail of discovery and among BBQs, trees and nooks and crannies. There is a tunnel of eggs, with eggs suspended from ribbons at all heights. A “fishing boat” allows kids to use magnetic poles and grabbers to find and collect eggs. And an area with beeping eggs offers a hunt for children with visual impairments. Thousands of eggs, stuffed with surprises by volunteers, are hidden, including golden eggs filled with "bunny bucks" that can be traded in for fun prizes. A very special visit from Mr. E. Bunny is a wonderful and inclusive addition, as he himself is visually impaired. Lots of smiles and fun to be had – join us, rain or shine!
