Metro and Portland Housing Bureau are planning for new affordable housing at NE 74th and Glisan in Portland. This early phase engagement is focused on tenant success, looks at four areas of influence (outdoor space, future engagement, services and ground floor uses) and will result in a statement of values to inform developer selection. The stakeholder group balances perspectives of people who live and work near the site, BIPOC community members, and people who have been houseless or have lived in affordable housing. Stakeholder meetings are open to the public; guests may provide brief comment during the beginning of the meeting, and observe the remainder.
Meeting 5 will focus on synthesizing the feedback received from the stakeholder group and via survey, moving toward drafting the statement of values to inform the developer selection process.
