After an extensive closure to improve Blue Lake Regional Park's water and sewer systems, the park welcomes visitors back on Memorial Day weekend – and thanks to new park rule changes, they'll be able to launch nonmotorized boats. While most of the work will be largely invisible to guests, a renovated fishing pier is in the works and soon Metro will be asking for community input on park renovations.
