The rideshare matching service for Oregon and SW Washington boasts about 8600 registered commuters, 100 to 200 new registrants each month, fun prize promotions and hundreds of rideshare matches. Metro VanPool

Vanpooling is another great way to save money and reduce commute stress. A vanpool is a group of 5 to 15 commuters who live in the same area and work in the same area, sometimes for the same employer and sometimes for various employers. After receiving approval, riders most often split the driving duties amongst themselves. Metro VanPool makes vanpooling even more economical with an incentive program that pays for 50 percent of the basic monthly van lease cost, not including fuel.
