Curbside recycling guidelines vary from city to city. Connect with your local recycling office to find out who collects your garbage and how to recycle at the curb.

Franchised or licensed hauling companies provide curbside garbage, recycling and yard debris collection service and are regulated by local government agencies within the region.

To find out who your garbage hauler is, you can:

  • call the number listed on your garbage bill
  • use the find your garbage hauler tool by typing in your address or intersection

  • call, send e-mail or visit the website of the appropriate agency below
  • call Metro Recycling Information, 503-234-3000, between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Call your garbage hauler or the appropriate agency from the list below to find out about collection fees and complete details on what recyclables are collected at the curb. Only haulers have information about your collection fees and day(s).
