Description of facility and application

Gresham Sanitary Service (dba GSS Transfer, LLC.) submitted an application to Metro for a transfer station franchise to transport waste to a landfill. The applicant currently holds a DEQ permit. Since 1992, the facility has been accepting and consolidating waste from its own hauling company for transport to other transfer stations. If approved by Metro, the applicant would continue its current operation and receive authorization to transport its waste directly to a landfill for disposal.
