Hiring from the region’s available female and minority work force
The data tracks Metro’s annual Equal Employment Opportunity goals from 2015 to 2019. Through the EEO goals, Metro aims to employ a percentage of female and minority workers for each job group that is at, or better than, the project regional workforce availability as maintained by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
The graph compares the projected availability of the workforce by job group within the Portland metropolitan region who identify as either “female” and/or “minority” with the percentage of individuals who identify as either “female” and/or “minority” who are employed at Metro as well as the total number of employees for each job group.
