Six Metro parks have reservable picnic shelters with capacities that range from 25 to 300 people. Some picnic shelters have access to running water, electricity, and other amenities; others simply offer tables and seating. Listed below are links to pages with information about each park’s amenities, fees and rules.
Depending on the event, you may need to apply for additional permits as well. Some sites offer the option to add a permit for beer/wine, amplified noise, rented amusements or catered food. To learn what’s allowed at your chosen picnic site, visit that specific park’s picnic page.
Organized activities in non-reservable areas or activities that go outside of established park rules and regulations require a special-use permit.
