Metro’s Collaborative Marketing Group, a part of the Regional Travel Options program, works with partners to provide learning opportunities and space for peer networking and collaboration.
Funded through the Federal Transit Authority and ODOT Active Transportation funds, the group has evolved over the past fifteen years, guided by partner needs and feedback, and directed by the Regional Travel Options Strategy adopted by Metro Council.
Metro staff works with partners to devise a strategic marketing approach every five years through an evaluation, workshops and surveys. Based on the most recent process, several outreach initiatives are being implemented in 2018 to 2020 to meet the needs of a wide variety of partners, build capacity and ensure all residents are connected to travel options resources regardless of where they live in the region.
