The Get Moving 2020 plan includes proposed investments to address safety and reliability on 17 primary travel corridors and transit routes that connect greater Portland. The plan includes the region's first rapid bus network, extending the MAX south along I-5 from downtown Portland into Washington County, and intersection and signal upgrades throughout the region. The plan also proposes ongoing funding for regionwide investments like Safe Routes to School and other programs that invest beyond these corridors.
On July 16, 2020, the Metro Council adopted proposed Get Moving corridor investments and program descriptions by resolutions. Explore summaries below, or read the text for yourself on the project homepage.
