The supportive housing services regional oversight committee is comprised of volunteer public officials convened to provide independent and transparent oversight of the regional program. The committee will include individuals with diverse personal and professional experience and expertise, including people with lived experience of housing instability and homelessness. The committee will evaluate implementation to ensure it is consistent with program goals and principles. The committee will also make annual reports and presentations to the Metro Council and the boards of commissioners of Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties regarding the program’s challenges, successes and outcomes.
The regional oversight committee will meet at least every three months throughout the life of the regional supportive housing services program. Terms for the committee are two years.
