Two advisory groups will provide essential input to Metro staff regarding the framework of a potential affordable housing measure. Working in tandem, these groups will inform each other’s discussions to ensure that a regional measure reflects community priorities and is technically feasible.
Stakeholder advisory table
A stakeholder advisory table, including about 30 members from nonprofit, business, government, philanthropy and labor organizations, provides input to Metro’s Chief Operating Officer and staff on desired community outcomes that should guide program activities. This group shares opportunities and concerns for potential program scenarios, and engages communities and the public about the measure’s development.
Technical advisory table
A technical advisory table, including about 20 members representing affordable housing finance, development, administration, and policy, advises Metro staff, consultants and stakeholders on the technical and operational components of a potential housing measure framework. The group’s work focuses on eligible program activities and scenarios for evaluation and discussion by the Stakeholder advisory table.
