Come and help plant bare root willows at Chehalem Ridge Nature Park!
Covering more than 1,200 acres, Chehalem Ridge will soon be Metro’s largest nature park in Washington County. Just a 15-minute drive from Forest Grove, the park will become a favorite destination for people across the greater Portland region.
No experience is needed. Gloves, tools, hot chocolate and snacks will be provided.

Directions to Chehalem Ridge
As you head south on Highway 47 into Gaston, turn left onto Main Street to head east. Main Street becomes Gaston Road. You’ll pass Spring Hill Road and then come to a curve that automatically takes you left onto Hardebeck Road. Take the immediate right onto Dixon Mill Road and head east for approximately 2.3 miles. The turnoff for Chehalem Ridge will be on your left. Allow about one hour from Portland, 20 minutes from Hillsboro and 15 minutes from Forest Grove.
