The region is looking ahead to how our transportation system will accommodate future growth and change – and what investments we should make over the next 25 years to keep our economy moving with a transportation system that is safe, healthy, reliable and affordable for all users.
At this forum, the Metro Council and regional leaders from the Metro Policy Advisory Committee and Joint Policy Advisory Committee on Transportation, along with invited business and community leaders, will discuss the role we want technology to play in our communities and to learn about successful transportation funding campaigns in Los Angeles, the Bay area and Seattle. The conversations in this forum will set the stage for a more in depth conversation on the Portland region’s priorities and funding needs at the third forum in December.
This is the second of five regional leadership forums planned through June 2018.
