Opening reception: Aug. 8, 6 to 9 p.m.
Exhibition: Aug. 8 through 31. Gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m., Friday through Sunday.

Opening simultaneously at Nisus next door, with a reception at the same time, is a solo show, “Waste Not,” by Portland artist Natalie Sept. Her series of portraits capture uneventful daily drama of employees at the station and the dizzying volume of trash. The shows raise awareness about our trash habits and ideas about trash as a resource.
