Metro’s Collaborative Group, a part of the Regional Travel Options program, works with partners to provide learning opportunities and space for peer networking and collaboration.
Funded through the Federal Transit Authority and ODOT Active Transportation funds, the group has evolved over the past fifteen years, guided by partner needs and feedback, and directed by the Regional Travel Options Strategy adopted by Metro Council.
Metro staff works with partners to devise a strategic Transportation Demand Managment approach through an evaluation, research and surveys. Based on the most recent process, the 2019 TDM Inventory and Assessment, several program and TDM initiatives are being implemented in 2019 to 2022 to meet the needs of a wide variety of partners, build capacity and ensure all residents are connected to travel options resources regardless of where they live in the region.
