The collaborative marketing group is an informal collection of local governments, agencies, nonprofits and transit providers working to ensure travel options education and resources reach residents of the Portland metropolitan region.
The Metro Drive Less Save More 2015–17 regional outreach efforts will be a multi-tactical approach built upon existing marketing strategy and plans informed by Metro’s regionally adopted RTO strategic plan and Metro’s Regional Transportation Plan.
2015–17 efforts include:
- Engage residents throughout the region with topical written and visual content, marketing materials and outreach activities that change attitudes, increase awareness and provide resources to ease participation in travel options.
- Work with nonprofit, service providers and government agency partners throughout the Portland metropolitan region and surrounding rural providers to increase connections and collaboration between agencies.
- Implement an individualized marketing project in select Milwaukie and Clackamas County neighborhoods that capitalizes on recent and upcoming infrastructure investments in travel options.
- Coordinate regional participation in statewide Oregon Drive Less Challenge.
