Metro has developed administrative rules for contracting and procurement. In its role as Local Contract Review Board, the Metro Council is scheduled to formally adopt these rules at their June 15, 2017 meeting.
The rules include:
- Goods and Services, Consultant Selection, Public Improvement
- Personal Services
- Equity in Contracting
The purpose of these rules is to simplify and clarify Metro’s procurement practices, promote efficient use of government resources, allow impartial and open competition, and aggressively provide contracting opportunities to businesses certified by the state of Oregon’s Certification Office of Business Inclusion and Diversity.
