Garbage and recycling › Resources for schools
Teach your students about waste prevention and resource conservation. Metro develops and maintains a wide selection of resources and programs for schools in Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties.

Metro provides free classroom presentations, puppet shows, educational theatre assemblies and other educational materials on waste prevention, recycling, composting and household hazardous waste. Help your students understand the connection between their personal choices and the earth’s diminishing resources. Presentations and materials are geared to state standards and designed to help you enhance your teaching goals.
