Pre-application launches selection process for 2013 Metro Central grant cycle

The Metro Central Enhancement Grant Committee has established a pre-application process to help guide the solicitation and selection process for the 2013 grant cycle. The total amount available to award is approximately $125,000.

Please note the following details about the process:

• A completed pre-application must be submitted for a project to be considered for an award.
• Pre-applications are due no later than 5 p.m. Monday, Oct 8, 2012. Pre-applications submitted after the 5 p.m. deadline will not be accepted.
• Sucessful pre-applications will be invited to submit a final grant application.
• Projects or programs must align with one or more of Metro's funding goals (described in the information attached).

About the pre-application process

A confirmation  note will be sent to all who submit a pre-application form. Information contained in completed forms will give Metro's selection committee a general understanding of the proposed project, its responsiveness to funding priorities, as well as the size, scope and partnerships involved.

Successful pre-applicants will be invited to submit a final grant application. The final grant application will be due in early November 2012.

A recommended slate of grant awards will be presented to the Metro Council by the end of December 2012. Awarded funds will be available on the reimbursement basis in January 2013.
