Maps, data and research › Natural hazards program
The Natural Hazards Program was a service of Metro's Data Resource Center from 1995 to 1999 and has been discontinued.
The now discontinued natural hazards program provided natural hazard information to better prepare the region and its residents in order to reduce injuries and property loss during an earthquake or other natural disaster. The program was funded by a grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and represented a partnership among many agencies and individuals, including the Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries, Oregon State Police, Oregon Office of Emergency Management, Metro Natural Hazards Technical Advisory Committee, and the Regional Emergency Management Group.
