The Metro Committee for Citizen Involvement has been temporarily suspended while Metro revises its public engagement review process. The new public engagement review process will commence in spring 2012 following Metro council approval.
A proposed new public engagement review process will be considered by the Metro Council at the Council meeting on Thursday, May 24 at 2 p.m. Public testimony will also be taken on Ordinance 12-1275. For more information, download the meeting packet.
The Metro Committee for Citizen Involvement was established under Metro’s home-rule charter in 1992 to assist with the development, implementation and evaluation of Metro’s citizen involvement program and advise on how to best involve residents in regional planning activities.
