Metro’s Research Center provides state-of-the-art mapping, spatial analysis, regional economic analysis, and demographic and travel forecasting for Metro, its regional partners, businesses and the public.

As custodians of the region’s geographic-based data infrastructure, Data Resource Center staff coordinate with regional partners to collect and combine data into a seamless data set for use in regionwide decision-making. This comprehensive data set, along with economic forecasting and modeling information, is used to generate reports, products and services that inform a wide variety of regional issues and opportunities.
