Chinook Landing Marine Park

Chinook Landing Marine Park, a 67-acre marine park with six launching lanes on the Columbia River, is one of the largest public boating facilities in Oregon. The park offers picnic and viewing areas, wetland and wildlife habitat, disabled-accessible docks, restrooms and a seasonal river patrol station.

Location

Adjacent to Blue Lake Regional Park on Marine Drive.

Bring your annual pass for admission to the marine park or pay $5 per vehicle. MasterCard or Visa only; cash and checks not accepted. Ramp is open from legal sunrise to legal sunset.

M. James Gleason Memorial Boat Ramp

M. James Gleason Memorial Boat Ramp is a convenient public boat launch on the Columbia River, minutes from downtown Portland. Recently upgraded amenities include a debris deflection wall, extra launch lanes, boarding docks, restrooms, river maps and a river patrol office.

Location

Located at Northeast 43rd Avenue and Marine Drive.

Bring your annual pass for free admission to the boat ramp or pay $5 per car and $7 per bus. MasterCard or Visa only; cash and checks not accepted. Ramp is open from legal sunrise to legal sunset.

Sauvie Island Boat Ramp

Sauvie Island Boat Ramp enables boaters to enjoy the quiet waters and wildlife of the Multnomah Channel. Recent improvements include a new launch ramp, new parking lot, new accessible restrooms, lighting and landscaping with native and salvaged vegetation.

Location

At the junction of Burlington Ferry and Sauvie Island roads. Take Highway 30 north approximately 9 miles past Linnton to the Sauvie Island Bridge. Cross the bridge, proceed north on Sauvie Island Road approximately 2.4 miles to Northwest Burlington Court (Burlington Ferry).

Access

Ramp is open from sunrise to sunset. There is no entrance fee.
