Metro owns and operates the Oregon Convention Center and the Portland Metropolitan Exposition Center and operates the Portland Center for the Performing Arts.
From home and garden shows to the symphony, manufacturing trade shows to rock concerts, business seminars to antiques shows, Metro's regional arts, convention and exhibition facilities host hundreds of events each year. Chances are you’ve been our guest at least once.

The Oregon Convention Center is the largest convention facility in the Pacific Northwest, hosting more than 12 million visitors since its opening 1990. An average of $450 million is generated annually in economic benefit for the region from the national and international visitors who attend conventions and events at the facility. In 2004, it was first in the nation to be certified LEED-EB by the U.S. Green Building Council, and, in 2008 became the first to be recertified as LEED-EB Silver.
